Lingo Surfer does not require an account or sign-up. Progress, settings and scores are stored on the device.
If signed in to iCloud, progress and coins sync via Apple's iCloud key-value storage. The developer cannot see this data.
Only if the player enters a nickname does the game send the nickname (max 20 characters), score, best combo, number of correct answers, and a random identifier generated by the app to our leaderboard database hosted on Supabase. This identifier is not a hardware or advertising ID. No nickname means nothing is sent.
Lingo Surfer shows only optional rewarded ads: watch to get energy or to continue a run. Ads are served by Google AdMob.
iOS asks for App Tracking Transparency permission first. With permission, Google may use the IDFA for personalised ads; otherwise ads are non-personalised. In the EEA/UK, Google's consent form is shown.

The “Unlimited” subscription is weekly or yearly. The yearly plan has a 7-day free trial. Apple processes it through In-App Purchase, managed with RevenueCat using an anonymous app user ID plus purchase history. We never see payment details.
The subscription renews automatically until cancelled in the Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Optional reminders (“your energy is full”, and a trial reminder 2 days before the trial ends) are scheduled on the device, and there is an energy countdown Live Activity. No push server is used.
Lingo Surfer has no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no data sales.
Lingo Surfer is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Deleting the app removes local data. iCloud data can be removed in iOS Settings. To delete a leaderboard entry or make any privacy request, email samilaltun1997@gmail.com with the nickname.
